EFFECT OF DIGITAL BANKING ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION OF COMMERCIAL BANKS IN KANO AND ZARIA, NIGERIA
Vol. 9 No. No. 1 (2025)The banking industry in the twenty-first century has experienced

accessibility. Digital banking, broadly understood as the delivery of banking services through electronic platforms, has therefore become a central feature
of modern financial intermediation (Ozili, 2020). This shift reflects changing
customer expectations and the growing demand for seamless and efficient
service delivery. -
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND ORGANISATIONAL COMMITMENT IN THE BANKING INDUSTRY IN NIGERIA
Vol. 9 No. No. 2 (2025)Committed employees dedicate their mental energy, emotional energy, and time to
their organisations. In return, these dedicated employees assume their company to
reciprocate the same. It is this expectation that creates the psychological contract
between employees and the organisations. These symbiotic expectations between the
employees and employers have changed over time and have been influenced by among
others global competition, high cost of labour, and knowledgeable customers. These changes call for organisations to develop new strategies for enhancing employee
commitment to improving the performance of the employees (Vance, 2006).
Employee job satisfaction is directly related with low turnover, decreased
absenteeism, and improved employee commitment to the organisation's economic
overall performance (Cherif, 2020). -
